Uttaranchal

Delhi-Haridwar
  • Arrive at Delhi (India).
  • Depart to Haridwar by road or train.
  • Arrive at Haridwar.
  • Visit river Ganga, participate in prayers (Ganga Arti).

Haridwar-Mussorie-Sayanchatti (from here onwards, the entire journey is by road)

  • Depart from Haridwar and arrive at Sayanchatti in the evening.
  • Travel via the hill staton Mussorie.
  • Enroute see Kempty falls.

Sayanchatti-Yamunotri-Sayanchatti

  • Deapart from Sayanchatti to Janakichatti.
  • Janakichatti to Yamunotri, 7 kilometer trek on foot, doli, kandi or horse.
  • Yamunotri temple.
  • Hot sulphur springs.
  • Yamunotri to Janakichatti, 7 kilometers trek on foot, doli, kandi or horse.
  • Return to Sayanchatti.

Sayanchatti-Uttarkashi

  • Depart from sayanchatti.
  • Arrive at uttarkashi.
  • Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Uttarkashi-Gangotri-Uttarkashi

  • Depart from Uttarkashi.
  • Photostop at Harsil village.
  • Gangotri temple.
  • Bhagirath rock.
  • Bhagirath river.
  • Return to Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi-Rudraprayag

  • Depart from Uttarkashi.
  • Enroute see Tehri dam.
  • Arrive at Rudraprayag.

Rudraprayag-Kedarnath

  • Depart from Rudraprayag for Gauri Kund.
  • Hot water springs at Gauri Kund.
  • Gauri Kund to Kedarnath, 14 kilometers trek on foot, doli, kandi or horse.
  • Kedarnath temple.
  • Kedarnath to Gauri Kund, 14 kilometers trek on foot, doli, kundi or horse.
  • Depat Gauri Kund for Rudraprayag.
  • Enroute see Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.
  • Arrive at Rudraprayag.

Rudraprayag-Badrinath

  • Depart from Rudraprayag.
  • Visit the sangams (confluence) of holy rivers: at Vishnuprayag- sangam of Alaknanda and dhauliganga; at at Nandaprayag- sangam of Alaknanda and Mandakini; at Karnaprayag- sangam of Alaknanda and Pinderganga.
  • Arrive at Badrinath.

  • Badrinath temple.
  • Mana village (at the border of India and Nepal).
  • Saraswati river.
  • Vyas Gumpha.

  • Bhim bridge.

Badrinath-Auli-Rudraprayag

  • Depart from Badrinath.
  • Enjoy India's highest and longest cable car ride at Auli.
  • View Nandadevi range of Himalayas.

Rudraprayag-Rishikesh-Haridwar

  • Depart from Rudraprayag.
  • Enroute see at Deoprayag- sangam (confluence) of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers.

  • Laxman Zula.
  • Laxman temple.
  • Baba Laki Kamliwala Ashram.

  • Depart for Haridwar.

  • Mansa Devi temple.
  • Holy dip in river Ganga at Hari Ki Pawadi.

  2. Thanks for sharing such a nice info about char dham tours. According to hindu myths the journey of chardham is equal to the journey of moksha. The Chardham tours has been the destination of thousands of tourist from india as well as from foreign countries to travel char dham.
